Every year Domestic & General send out thousands of survey questionaires to their customers after a successful intervention by a repair agent. The survey asks the customer to "score" the service and presentation of the attending repair agent, as well as satisfaction ratings on all aspects of the repair service, from initial contact to completion. Each year the Total Excellence & Quality Award (TEQ) is awarded to the very best agents, who over a 12 month period have not only produced the top results but whose customers have recognised and appreciated the repair service.
DAR (Rotherham) came out on top in the 2009 year, winning the award for 4th time in 1st place, our other winning 1st place years are 2001, 2002 and 2007.
In 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008 we were either 2nd or 3rd in this very comprehensive, customer based, annual survey.
DAR (Rotherham) prides itself on doing a good job, delivering value for money backed with customer guarantees, after all, we want you as a customer for life, not just 1 repair job.
We take nothing for granted, the annual TEQ Award is the only recognised appliance repair service survey that reflects our industry and customers, we are very proud of our record and will work to maintain our standards.
Following on into 2010 we have won the TEQ award once again, a great achievement from all who work here, especially our engineers who are the face to face contact with the customers, well done to them.
The 2010 award ceremony was held at the Swinton Park Hotel, Masham, near Ripon North Yorkshire. More on this as we receive it, just waiting for the local newspaper to cover the story....
It appears that "local firm does good" is not quite as newsworthy as it once was. Even though we advertise in our local paper they won't cover the story unless they are paid for it. Therefore, its a case of some you win others you lose.
Best we try and have the same problem next year.......................
And following on from 2010 we have just heard we have won the TEQ award for the 3rd year running and with a staggering score of 97% over the 12 months of the competition. Just brilliant work and dedication by everyone here at DAR and we would thank all of the D&G customers who took the time to answer the surveys and return them. Our success is because of you, thanks.
As yet we don't know where and when the award night will be, but we are already looking forward to bringing home the 2011 trophy for our cabinet.
Just had a phone call advising we have come 2nd in the TEQ award for 2012.... no info as yet as to who won, but congrats to them... GT Electrical in Hull came 3rd, congratulations to Nigel and Laura Bell who are previous winners of this Trophy
Brilliant, we have won the TEQ award once again, averaging 96.5% customer satisfaction with the repair work and service level over a 12 month period, based on customer surveys sent out by Domestic&General. Our thanks to all of the customers who returned the surveys and our appreciation of the high quality marks given.
Award dinner was a national event grouping all categories of repairers and was held at The New Hall Hotel, Sutton Coldfield - another beautiful location and excellent event.
Confirmed winners yet again! Given this is a national competition involving over 300 repair companies DAR's consistent winning performance is something we are very proud of. Award presentation to be held in October 2015, again at The New Hall Hotel, Sutton Coldfield.
